1. What Metaglider provides
Metaglider provides software for dog owners to save care information and share submitted forms with their selected sitter. The platform does not itself book stays, process pet-care payments, supervise animals, provide veterinary advice, or guarantee a sitter’s qualifications, insurance, availability, or performance.
Pet-care services are arranged separately between the owner and sitter. Any business operating a sitter workspace acts in its separate capacity as a care provider. These terms do not replace that provider’s booking agreement or excuse its own conduct.
2. Eligibility and account security
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to create an account. If you act for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to do so. Provide accurate account details, verify your email when required, and keep your credentials private. Authenticator security is optional; if you enroll, sign-in requires your authenticator code.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not impersonate another person, share access to someone else’s workspace, or attempt to bypass permissions.
3. Care information and sitter responsibilities
Owners must review their answers, disclose relevant care and safety needs accurately, and have permission to provide other people’s contact information. Check the recipient before submitting. Tell your sitter directly about urgent changes; a saved or submitted form is not confirmation that a sitter has read or accepted an instruction.
Sitters are responsible for reviewing submissions, resolving unclear or conflicting instructions, obtaining appropriate permissions, and meeting their own licensing, insurance, safety, privacy, and professional obligations. Use owners’ information only for authorized care and related communications, protect any copies you make, and do not sell it or use it for unrelated marketing.
Metaglider is not an emergency service. Contact your sitter, veterinarian, or appropriate emergency service directly when urgent care is needed. The separate care-policy checkbox describes care arrangements; it is not a general release of all liability.
4. Your information and acceptable use
You retain your rights in the information you provide. You give Metaglider a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, display, and transmit it as needed to provide, secure, and support the service, including delivery to the sitter you choose. Our Privacy Policy describes personal-information handling.
Do not upload unlawful material, malware, information you lack permission to share, or unnecessary sensitive human information such as identity documents, payment-card details, or medical records. Do not scrape private records, disrupt the service, or use it to harass others.
Optional AI-assisted imports can be incomplete or incorrect. Review and correct every suggested answer before saving or submitting it. Imported answers are not veterinary advice, and the tool does not accept agreements for you.
5. Availability, changes, and account closure
The service may experience interruptions, errors, or changes. Keep a separate copy of essential care instructions and an alternative way to contact your sitter. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these terms.
You can stop using the service and request account closure through the contact below. Closure does not automatically erase submitted records or copies held independently by a sitter; see the Privacy Policy. Any paid platform offering will disclose its charges and applicable payment terms before purchase.
6. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the software is provided as available and without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of user-provided or automatically generated information. We do not guarantee a particular care outcome. This disclaimer does not exclude warranties or protections that the law does not permit us to exclude.
7. Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Metaglider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the software, including lost profits or business opportunities. Subject to the exceptions below, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the platform fees you paid us during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any injury, statutory right, or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. They do not waive non-waivable consumer rights or excuse a care provider’s own acts. Nothing in these terms prevents you from bringing a claim or reporting a concern to a regulator.
8. Third-party claims and disputes
If you use the service for a sitter business, to the extent permitted by law you agree to reimburse Metaglider for reasonable damages and legal costs finally awarded, or agreed in a settlement you approve, for third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, unauthorized disclosure of information, or material breach of these terms. This does not cover claims caused by Metaglider’s own negligence or misconduct. We will promptly notify you and reasonably cooperate in addressing a claim.
Please contact us to try to resolve a concern. This request does not require arbitration, waive a jury or class action, shorten a statutory deadline, or restrict available consumer remedies.
9. Acceptance and changes
When a sitter explicitly accepts these terms during workspace setup, we record the accepted version and time. A link to the Privacy Policy explains our practices; acknowledging it does not provide blanket consent to unrelated processing.
We will identify revisions by version and date, provide notice of material changes in the service or by email, and obtain renewed agreement when required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
